📋 Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the My LMS application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application. These terms apply to all users including students, parents, teachers, administrators, and super-administrators.

2. Description of Service

My LMS (My LMS Management System) is a comprehensive school management platform that provides:

• Student enrollment and academic record management.
• Attendance tracking for students and staff.
• Fee management, payment processing, and receipt generation.
• Exam scheduling, result entry, and report cards.
• Staff management and payroll records.
• Parent-school communication via announcements and diary.
• Multi-campus organization management.

3. User Accounts and Access

Access to My LMS is role-based. Users are assigned roles by school administrators. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying the school administration immediately of any unauthorized access.

Accounts are provided solely for legitimate school management purposes. Sharing credentials with unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use My LMS only for lawful school management activities. You must NOT:

• Access data beyond your assigned role and permissions.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Upload malicious files, malware, or harmful content.
• Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any individual.
• Share, distribute, or misuse confidential student or staff data.
• Use the system for any commercial purpose without authorization.

5. Data Ownership

All data entered into My LMS by the school (student records, attendance, fees, etc.) remains the property of the respective school/organization. My LMS acts as a data processor and does not claim ownership over school data. You grant us a limited license to store and process data solely to provide the service.

6. Privacy

Your use of My LMS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide 99%+ uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, Firebase infrastructure issues, or other factors may occasionally affect availability. We are not liable for any loss caused by temporary service interruptions.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of My LMS at any time. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My LMS and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or errors in records.

The school administration is responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data entered into the system.

10. Account Termination

School administrators may deactivate user accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, access to the service is revoked immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of My LMS shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
