• Staff Information: Name, designation, contact details, salary records.
• Usage Data: App activity logs, device information, and crash reports to improve performance.
• Payment Records: Fee payment history, voucher numbers, transaction dates (no card/bank details are stored).

• Manage student admissions, attendance, and academic records.
• Process and track fee payments and generate receipts.
• Communicate important school notices and announcements.
• Generate performance reports, grade cards, and certificates.
• Provide role-based access to authorized school personnel.
• Improve app performance and fix technical issues.

All data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore & Storage), protected by industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled through role-based security rules so only authorized users can view sensitive data.

We implement the following safeguards:

• Role-based access control (8 distinct roles with granular permissions).
• Firebase Authentication for secure login.
• Offline data encrypted locally via Hive encrypted storage.
• Regular security rule audits.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared only in the following situations:

• Within the School: Authorized staff (teachers, admins, management) may access relevant student/staff data as per their role.
• Service Providers: Google Firebase (data hosting), used under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as required for school operations or as required by law. Student records may be retained for up to 7 years after graduation for academic reference purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Children's Privacy

My LMS is specifically designed for school management and handles data of minors (students). All student data is collected and managed by the school administration on behalf of parents/guardians. Parents may request access to or deletion of their child's data by contacting the school administration.

• Access your personal data stored in My LMS.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain data processing.
• Export your data in a machine-readable format.
